Swedish Sheepskin

Organic & very large! Utterly perfect and practical for warmth and comfort.

{Rugga} is a large Swedish sheepskin in deep rich brown. Very thick and soft. Comfortable for lounging on, using as extra padding on a chair or to even to use as a barrier between you and damp earth when camping. Note* this is the only sheepskin were there are 2 currently available that look nearly identical to one another- same size, same shade as in the photo. These will be shipped directly from Sweden to you. (All other sheepskins will be shipped from within the US.)

A single sheepskin can last you a lifetime and is well worth the investment! The tanning process on these particular sheepskins have been done organically, which means they can not be thrown into a washer, but instead can be lightly hand-washed and hung dry. However, an incredible thing about sheepskin is that they naturally stay quite clean as they repel liquids (due to their natural lanolin oils) and are naturally deodorizing! That’s one reason why we see them lining baby cribs and strollers all the time here in Scandinavia!

All of the sheepskins offered under Root Tonics have been sourced in a very meticulous manner. The sheepskins are bi-products from meat production.
