Large Nordic Sheepskin

Organic & big! Utterly perfect and practical for warmth and comfort.

{Sóley} is a large Swedish sheepskin with the silkiest of fur! A blend of pearly creams, enchanting greys and charcoal. The various hues are unique and I consider this one to hold a true viking essence. Comfortable for lounging on, using as extra padding on a chair or to even to use as a barrier between you and the damp earth when camping. This is one of my favorites. He does have a very minor little scar on the under belly.

A single sheepskin can last you a lifetime and is well worth the investment! The tanning process on these particular sheepskins have been done organically, which means they can not be thrown into a washer, but instead can be lightly hand-washed and hung dry. However, an incredible thing about sheepskin is that they naturally stay quite clean as they repel liquids (due to their natural lanolin oils) and are naturally deodorizing! That’s one reason why we see them lining baby cribs and strollers all the time here in Scandinavia!

All of the sheepskins offered under Root Tonics have been sourced in a very meticulous manner. The sheepskins are bi-products from meat production.
